USC athletic director Pat Haden has reportedly been hospitalized twice in the past two days, according to the Los Angeles Times.

A source told the paper that “Haden had not been feeling well” which led to his trips to the hospital and forced him to miss out on Saturday night’s annual “Salute to Troy” event on campus at Cromwell Field.

USC officials would not comment on the situation.

Haden, who is a member of the new College Football Playoff selection committee, replaced Mike Garrett as USC Trojans athletic director on Aug. 3, 2010.

As you would expect, social media was sending out messages to Haden for a quick road to recovery.

“Salute to Troy” gave fans an opportunity to take photos and receive autographs from players and the coaching staff during the barbecue kickoff for the upcoming football season.

The event also honored the 50th anniversary of the 1964 team and the 25th anniversary of the 1989 Trojans.

USC will open up their 2014 college football season this weekend against the Fresno State Bulldogs at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in primetime. Kickoff for the regular season opener is set for 7:30 p.m. ET.
