Pac-12 releases 2015 football schedule
The debate between eight and nine-game conference schedules rages on inside college football, but the Pac-12 has come firmly down on the nine-game side of things as it released its full 2015 football schedule on Tuesday night.

In the new College Football Playoff era, the Pac-12 is also upping the ante in the three non-conference games available to its teams. As the conference released its schedule for next season, it also showed that one-third of all non-conference games for the Pac-12 will be against so-called “Power 5” conference opponents.
Headlining the non-conference slate include matchups between Utah and Michigan, Washington at Boise State, Stanford at Northwestern and Oregon at Michigan State. Additional games with “Power 5” schools include Oregon State visiting Michigan, UCLA hosting Virginia, Utah going to Michigan, Washington State making the return trip to Rutgers and Cal traveling to Texas.
There are also games against Texas A&M, BYU and Notre Dame for Pac-12 teams and their fans to look forward to in 2015.
One of the more intriguing parts of the schedule release is the amount of Thursday games that will be played. Fans will be treated to some good football on Thursday nights in 2015 with contests like Michigan at Utah, Washington at USC and UCLA at Stanford dotting the schedule.
The conference will have a mix of national broadcast partners once again in 2015, with a combination of the ESPN channels, ABC, FOX and FOX Sports 1 will broadcast 44 games nationally and Pac-12 Networks offering 34 games to a national audience as well.
