Is there any doubt that these kids just won Halloween? Take a look at these Richard Sherman and Erin Andrews costumes.

For the sake of the NFL, there needs to be better Halloween costume ideas than Ray Rice. Seriously, do not dress up as No. 27 tonight, or any other night for that matter.

It would appear as if the Wall Street Journal has not given up on the National Football League, at least from a trick or treating perspective. They recently published an article spotlighting a few great (and more importantly, tasteful) costume ideas. There is of course, the obligatory Bill Belichick cut-off sweatshirt, with headphones adornment.

But what really makes costumes clever is when they capture a snapshot of history; something that makes a person go, oh yeah, I forgot about that. That’s what some kids have done with their Halloween costumes this year, as they’ve called back to the NFC Championship Game from this past January between the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks.

It’s not the game they’re referencing, it’s the postgame tirade that Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman went on with Erin Andrew standing right by. Roughly nine months later, these kids have brought the moment back to life in the cutest way imaginable.

Thanks to these hilarious kids and their socially conscious parents, the world has adorable costumes to commemorate this event. It might have been the most entertaining interview of Andrews’s career. And surely, Sherman would agree that these costumes rank in the same upper echelon as his super bowl ring.
