There aren’t many sports which promptly feature the head of the player, but soccer is one of the few.
Sure, the game is based around the use of feet but headers are encouraged. Given that, you probably wouldn’t expect a soccer player to wear any type of hair that didn’t belong to them, though it appears as if Bournemouth’s Baily Cargill didn’t get the memo.
Participating in the League Cup against Liverpool, Cargill brought the ball up the field before finding an open teammate streaking across the middle. Everything seemed relatively normal and if you weren’t paying extremely close attention, you may have missed what took place.
For those with an eagle eye however, they noticed something very odd taking place as soon as Baily Cargill passed the ball away.
His hair fell off. Or something.
Was that a wig? Some form of a weird extension? Whatever the case might be, it was there and attached to the back of his head before the pass and it was on the pitch moments later.
The best part? He just left it sitting on the grass despite the play going the opposite play.
From the looks of the video, it appeared as if Cargill had some type of “ponytail” wrapped up but watching that would seem impossible, unless it was a fake mass of hair he decided to put on.
Whatever the case, that was really weird.
