The Dallas Cowboys were recipients of a gift from officials on a blown pass interference call, which Twitter is convinced stems from Dean Blandino partying with Jerry Jones’ son.

They say you can’t earn a championship in professional sports, you have to buy one and that’s been the case so many times across of sports leagues in recent history. That’s why the underdog is always the favorite among the average Joe, and it’s also why there’s a shady side to all aspects of business.

Strap on your tinfoil hat folks, there’s a new NFL conspiracy afoot that links NFL head of officiating Dean Blandino with a blown non-call that favored that Dallas Cowboys.

The incident occurred in the fourth quarter of the NFC Wild Card game between the Cowboys and Lions in which Dallas committed a pass interference penalty that was called as such and then picked up and nullified. While the penalty in question seemed obvious, it’s the fact that the flag was picked up that has enraged Twitter.

All of this stems back to Dean Blandino being caught on a Dallas Cowboys party bus earlier this year. While the man isn’t barred from having a good time, it seemed like a massive conflict of interest that he was partying with an NFL team. Furthermore, he was spotted with Stephen Jones, the son of Jerry Jones who owns the Cowboys.

Twitter didn’t take long to connect the dots.
