Nerlens Noel was having none of Andrew Wiggins’ attempt at a drive to the hoop

It’s always fun to watch two young stars go at one another on the basketball court, and that’s exactly what he had on Friday night when Andrew Wiggins and Nerlens Noel were on the same floor as the 76ers took on the Timberwolves. At on one point in the contest, these two had themselves a showdown.

And…Noel won.

Early in the third quarter, Wiggins found himself with the ball in the corner. From that point, somehow, he believed that he had a clear path to the rim and an easy two points. Apparently, he missed the very tall man in front of him, Noel, who proceeded to swat the shot right away from the rim.

Barring injury to either one, this won’t be the last that we see of these two battling near the time. But for now, Noel has the definitive edge following this block.
