On Wednesday every college football fan got very excited with the release of the 2015 preseason Coaches Poll. Whenever we can get a glimpse of some college football rankings, then we feel just a little better inside. However, deep down we know that those aren’t the most important rankings, rather it’s the College Football AP Poll that we all look for.

So for as exciting as it was to see the Coaches Poll, you’re probably wondering how long it will be until we get a look at the most important rankings — the AP Poll.

Well, we don’t have that long to wait, as the 2015 preseason College Football AP Poll will be in our lives on August 23, just before the season is about to get underway.

That’s not too far away, as we’re slowly exiting the month of July here and heading into August. Before you know it, they’ll be dropping those rankings and we can all realize that college football is on our doorsteps.

As for what that first College Football AP Poll may look like for 2015, well at the top, not much should be changing. With the plethora of talent that the Ohio State Buckeyes are returning from that National Championship squad, it’s hard to imagine anyone not ranking them the No. 1 team in the country.
