The Cincinnati Bengals went in to face the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday and came away with quite the amazing win

56. Final. 24. 26. 28

Sunday afternoon the Cincinnati Bengals went on the road to face the Baltimore Ravens in an NFC Northe showdown, and when things were all said and done here in this Week Three clash, the Bengals walked away 3-0 with a thrilling 28-24 win.

The first half of this one was essentially the Andy Dalton Show, which is something that Bengals fans always love to see. The Cincinnati quarterback got the scoring started in this one with a seven-yard rushing touchdown, getting the Bengals the 7-0 lead with 7:20 left to play in the opening quarter. In the second quarter, just as the period got underway a few minutes in, Dalton hit Marvin Jones with the 16-yard scoring strike, giving the Bengals the somewhat commanding 14-0 lead. They would take that lead into the locker room.

In the second half, the Ravens started to mount the comeback attempt in this one. With about six minutes to go in the third quarter, Steve Smith Sr. once again electrified everyone with a 50-yard touchdown reception off the pass from Joe Flacco. Just after the fourth quarter got underway, Justin Tucker added a 21-yard field goal to cut the lead to 14-10.

Then, things got pretty weird.

Trying to hold onto that 14-10 lead, Elvis Dumervil would sack Andy Dalton with just under seven minutes to go. With the ball coming loose, C.J. Mosley would scoop it up and run it in for the lead. Joy in Baltimore!

Yeah, but that joy would be quite short-lived. As an answer literally just seconds later, Dalton would hit Green for the 80-yard score and the 21-17 lead. Just over two minutes later, Smith would have his answer.

To cap off a nine-play, 79-yard drive, Flacco would find Smith for the 16-yard score and the 24-21 lead. So, of course, it was time for the Bengals to come with an answer of their own, and guess who took charge of that?

Cincinnati would go 80 yards in six plays and capped it all off with a seven-yard touchdown to none other than A.J. Green, his second of the fourth quarter.

Baltimore would have one last gasp effort, but a Joe Flacco pass on fourth down was incomplete, sealing the incredible win for the Bengals.
