Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins gave us one of the lines of the season after a win last year, but his latest quotable moment was equally funny.

After a comeback win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last season, in what will go down as the turning point in the Washington Redskins’ season, quarterback Kirk Cousins was caught on camera yelling “you like that!” as he walked to the locker room. That spawned a t-shirt that was sold for charity, and it became a memorable moment in Washington’s run to the NFC East title.

Cousins is looking to repeat his breakout 2015 season this year, and that meas taking up a big leadership role on the team.

Part of that role will involve Cousins admitting his mistakes, acknowledging his failure and admitting when he doesn’t know something. Cousins did the latter to comic effect during a training camp drill on Sunday.

Later, Cousins followed up with a motivational quote from the movie Remember The Titans.

Cousins is looking to prove he’s worthy of a lucrative long-term contract with a good follow-up to last year. It’s unclear if he’s up to that task, with a full season of game film for opposing defensive coordinators to break down on him now, but let’s hope Cousins’ quote game ramps up over the course of the 2016 season. He’s off to a good start.
