Frank Mason puts Michigan State defender on a serious pair of skates (Video)

Frank Mason showed during the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament why he is indeed one of the best players in the country
There is no doubt in people’s minds, whether they like the Kansas basketball program or not, that Frank Mason is one of the best players in the country, if not the best. Of course, this was evidenced by the fact that the point guard was named one of the four Naismith Award finalists on Sunday.
However, what’s even more fun is watching Mason show us why he’s one of the best when he’s doing that work on the court, like he was on Sunday afternoon in the Jayhawks’ Second Round game against the Michigan State Spartans. Boy, did he really have everyone talking after this one.

In the first half as the Jayhawks look to advance to the Sweet 16, Mason brought the ball up and he was trailed by a Michigan State defender. Man, how ever will Mason get out of this jam?
You know how Mason is gonna get on this jam? He’s going to totally and utterly embarrass the defender in front of him by putting him on some skates and sending him flying … like, really far.
Oh now come on, Frank, that’s just cold. You could have just broke buddy’s ankles a little bit to get yourself open, but you just went ahead and tore them off of his body.
Again, though, this is why Mason is considered one of the best of the best in college basketball.
*Whispers* The floor may also have been a little slippery here, too.
