Former St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson is one of the best under-the-radar free agents in the 2013 class and it has been speculated even before his release that he would end up with the Atlanta Falcons.

While the Falcons remain the favorite to land the veteran running back, there are talks that another team could swoop in and crash the Falcons hopes of landing Jackson.

Per Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, the Green Bay Packers could play the spoiler role.

There is growing speculation from his league sources that Green Bay has heavy interest in the 29-year-old running back and they could be poised to make a solid offer. Jackson would be a great fit in Green Bay and would give the Packers the help that they desperately need in the running game.
