Former NBA player and current cast member on the VH1 “Basketball Wives” reality television show, Eric Williams, is in trouble with the law.
According to TMZ, Williams, who is in the process of divorcing current wife Jennifer Williams was sued last year by a woman claiming to be the Mother of a son she and Williams had together. The judge required him to both appear and submit a DNA sample in the paternity case, but he opted not only to not submit the test nor hire a lawyer – he just completely blew the whole thing off, ignoring it all. That didn’t set well with the judge who has now ordered an arrest warrant for the former 12 year NBA veteran.
Per TMZ:
"As TMZ first reported, Williams — who is in the process of divorcing “Wives” star Jennifer Williams — was slapped with a paternity suit last year by a woman who claims he knocked her up. The woman’s son was born in October, 2011, while he was still living with Jennifer."
Classy.
Williams spent time with the Denver Nuggets, Cleveland Cavaliers, New Jersey Nets, Toronto Raptors, San Antonio Spurs and Charlotte Bobcats though is most known for his days as a member of the Boston Celtics where he spent parts of six seasons.
