Oh, Pacman.

The oft-troubled defensive back Adam Jones, better known by his nickname “Pacman” was arrested this morning as Jones himself broke the news on Twitter.

"Just got arrested for protecting myself, I will not let this break me or change what I have work so hard for …."

What exactly he was “protecting” himself from is unknown at this time.

Jones, who is currently a member of the Cincinnati Bengals, recently signed a 3 year deal to remain in Cincy but another run-in with the law may put his roster spot in jeopardy.

In addition to a roster spot that may be influx, Jones will most likely be in-line for an NFL suspension given his already lengthy history of legal problems, no matter if he was “protecting himself” or not.

Jones, despite all of his off-field problems, had a very impressive season for the Bengals last year, ranking as the 11th best defensive back in the league.

A shame he can’t stay out of trouble given his talents.

Update –

According to Adam Schaffer, Pacman slapped a woman:

"Schaffer said 2 intoxicated women approached Jones at Reds game, took picture with him, threw bottle of beer at him, then Jones slapped one."
