The Philadelphia Eagles cutting Michael Vick? It doesn’t seem remotely possible, but according to Eagles insider Geoff Mosher, it’s a possibility if he doesn’t win the starting quarterback job.

Mosher was recently doing a Q&A session out of his mailbag and was presented a question about the Eagles’ financial situation and who they may or may not cut out of training camp. Vick was shockingly one of the names brought up.

Per CSN Philly:

"Michael Vick, of course, could be a roster casualty if Kelly is sold on Nick Foles and the promise of Matt Barkley. Felix Jones needs to stay healthy and be productive this camp to make the team, and we all know former first-round pick Danny Watkins is on thin ice."

It’s clearly more speculation than actual evidence at this point, but just days ago it was reported that Nick Foles had the inside track to the starting job at Matt Barkley wasn’t exactly too far behind.

Still, despite the apparently impressive play from both Foles and Barkley, it’s difficult to imagine Vick being a roster casualty.
