This year’s rendition of Hard Knocks is following the Cincinnati Bengals around. That leads them to the Atlanta Falcons as the Bengals travel to Georgia for some joint squad practices.

The Falcons though are going to try and stay off the show.

“We will not have any of our players miked,” Falcons coach Mike Smith said, per The Associated Press, via NFL.com. “This show is about the Cincinnati Bengals.”

After Roddy White threw his name in the Colin Kaepernick hat scandal willingly you’d think the un-shy White would relish this opportunity. After all, his Twitter handle is “RoddyWhiteTV.”

“I’m not really a miked-up guy,” wide receiver Roddy White added after Sunday’s practice. “I just like to come out here and practice. I don’t want them to hear what I’m saying because I don’t want them to say it on TV. We’ll be going over signals and things like that, so I don’t want to give away our calls early in the season.”

It still could be an interesting episode as the two teams duke it out in practices ahead of their Thursday night preseason match up.
