Former Indiana Hoosiers (and Texas Tech, if you want to get technical) head coach Bob Knight is a bastard of a man.
I’ve never met him (thankfully) otherwise I’d probably hate him with the passion of five hundred fiery suns. But because I haven’t met him or haven’t had a folding chair thrown at my head by him, moments like this are quite hilarious.
With a H/T to the Big Lead, here we have good old Bobby along with a buddy of his in some outtakes from a 1980’s weekly golf show that Knight apparently had.
Obviously Knight was on his best behavior for the actual show recordings, but these outtakes, well, they show the Knight we all enjoy laughing at.
My personal favorite moment takes place just after the 2:10 mark where Knight is in the bunker and completely shanks his shot. Rather than move on (considering the camera is rolling), Knight turns around, swings his iron in the most frustrated of ways, cussing violently. Trust me, it’s worth the watch:
