There are a lot of embarrassing things that can happen to one while they’re on live television.

Some of those embarrassing things you’re probably not overly in control of, though, when it comes to the balance of your chair – you can control that pretty good. Well, at least I thought you could.

Apparently, former San Francisco 49ers great and NFL legend Ronnie Lott has trouble doing so.

Lott, who is a analyst for Fox Sports was working the Pac 12 postgame show in Los Angeles yesterday when he, well, I’m not even sure how to describe what happened.

At first it looked as if the chair he was sitting in began to collapse, but then it was like somebody tied a string to the back of his chair and yanked him across the stage. Quite odd.

Likely, Lott decided to lean back in his chair a bit and one of the wheels caught the side of the stage platform which sent Lott for a ride usually felt by opposing players on the wrong end of his hits.

The best part might be his fellow commentators just looking at laughing though.
