If you’re like me, you’re wondering what the hell happened to Cam Newton in your fantasy league.

And if you’re a Carolina Panthers fan, you’re wondering what the hell happened during Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks.

While no disrespect is meant towards the Seahawks, who have one of the better defenses in the NFL, the Carolina Panthers’ offense, especially their passing game looked incredibly woeful yesterday.

Head coach Ron Rivera is fully aware, taking part blame, suggesting that the passing calls were far too conservative.

Per Joe Person:

"Rivera says passing game plan was too conservative."

I guess you could call that a ‘no duh’ moment.

The Panthers, who were only able to score a touchdown during yesterday’s loss only threw for 125 yards, averaging just 5.4 yards per completion (!!!)

The running game wasn’t too awful (though it could have been better) considering the talented front line of the Seahawks, but the passing was non existent.

Hopefully for Panther fans (and Caw Newton fantasy owners), the team will get back on track next week against the Buffalo Bills.
