After securing a contract extension that made him one of the highest paid fullbacks in NFL history, Marcel Reece promptly rumbled into the Oakland Raiders endzone in Week 2 for a score on their first possession.

Then that was it.

Reece didn’t see many opportunities thrown his way, something that didn’t sit well with Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie who told ESPN.com that Reece needs to see more action:

"McKenzie spoke with seven Bay Area-based reporters at the team’s headquarters in a half-hour roundtable chat and broached topics ranging from Pryor to team expectations to pending free agents to the need for the Raiders to get the ball more to playmaking fullback Marcel Reece."

With an unique size and speed combination, on top of the fact that Reece has no problem running routes usually saved for wide receivers or overly athletic tight ends, the former Washington star can be a versatile and useful weapon in the Raiders’ offense, something McKenzie is hoping the coaching staff will realize.
