San Francisco 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith is one of the best pass rushers in the NFL, though, he seemingly continues to find himself in messy scenarios.

Case in point? This morning when the third year pro was arrested for driving under the influence, this according to Matt Maiocco:

"49ers OLB Aldon Smith was arrested at 7 a.m. today under suspicion of DUI, according to San Jose Police."

The San Jose police department said that Smith was arrested after a ‘solo car crash’ and said that Smith was the only person in the vehicle and that there were no serious injuries. That’s all the information that has been released at this point.

It’s the second time that Smith has been busted for a DUI, the original taking place back in January of 2012.

Smith of course is already in the midst of another legal battle stemming from a shooting which saw him end up stabbed.

Needless to say, he needs to improve his decision making off the field.
