While the Seattle Seahawks came away with a relatively easy victory over the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday night, for a quarter or two, things were pretty tight.
That was changed after Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch busted off one of his patented ‘Beast Mode’ runs for a touchdown, though after an officials review, the play was called back and the touchdown reversed.
Assuming he’d get the ball again, Lynch appeared to become less than impressed with the Seahawks’ coaching staff as instead of giving Lynch the ball back, they coaching staff opted to run a passing play instead.
Lynch, breaking the huddle, can be seen looking over towards the Seahawks’ sideline where he then gave a hand gesture that seemingly didn’t appear very courteous.
What exactly was he doing? Nobody really knows. Did he flip off the sidelines? At first glance, it sure seems like it, especially after you can see Lynch breaking from the huddle less than impressed once Russell Wilson relayed the play call. Lynch was the lone player even paying attention to the sideline, so, there was clearly some type of issue.
