5. Andy Dalton-QB-Cincinnati Bengals (24.5%)

If you lost a QB this week, the best possible solution is to add Andy Dalton who is still woefully under-owned since he tends to be inconsistent. The last two weeks he has been exceptional, though, and is using a wide variety of receivers. Sunday against Detroit he threw for 372 yards and three touchdowns after throwing for 337 and three scores the week before against the Bills.

He does have a tendency to go up-and-down a bit and can get caught in bad patterns, but he has shown enough positive signs of turning it around and has the weapons to make that happen.

Dalton is the top QB option widely available even though he’s in a tough matchup against the Jets this week. He isn’t quite a QB1 this week but can fill in if Jay Cutler or Sam Bradford was who you  were counting on in the past.
