On Friday night, the final preseason game between the Toronto Raptors and Milwaukee Bucks was ended prematurely due to ‘unsafe playing conditions’, this because the floor became too slick to play on.

Through the first few minutes of the game, players were randomly slipping and falling – expressing concern to the referees.

After a small conference, the officials decided to call the game as nobody was exactly sure what was wrong with the slick hardwood.

At this point, the Milwaukee Bucks are attempting to figure out what cause the problems, though, may be forced to install their old floor if things can’t be figured out before the season tips off on Saturday for the Bucks.

"John Steinmiller, the Bucks executive vice president for business operations, said Saturday that the NBA officials will look into possible causes and make a recommendation to the team. One such option could be going back to the team’s old floor."

Some suggestions have hinted that ice was laid down on the Bradley Center floor prior to the Bucks’ floor being put in, which created condensation though there’s been no official confirmation of that.

Members from the NBA offices will be in Milwaukee on Tuesday to inspect the floor.
