The Miami Dolphins started out their Sunday by putting a whipping on the New England Patriots.
That lasted for about a quarter and a half before New England decided theyād actually start playing up to their skill level.
Speaking of skill levels, here we have Devin McCourty and Marquice Cole with one of the best interceptions youāll see in quite a while.
With the Patriots leading by three points in the fourth quarter, Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill decided heād try to go down the sideline in hopes of getting the Fins into the red zone. It was a good idea, except that he left the ball in the air way too long and the receiver down field was double-covered.
Other than that though, flawless.
Thanks to the double coverage, the Patriots were able to swarm on the ball and had one of the best tip-drill interceptions youāll ever see.
Talk about concentration, not only on the catch, but to keep your feet in bounds and the understanding to know he wouldnāt have come down with the catch in-bounds, so to tip-drill it back into the field of play.
Impressive.
