When Green Bay Packers tight end Jermichael Finley went down with his devastating injury earlier this season, the thought of playing football again was the furthest thing from the mind. People were just hoping Finley would be able to continue to lead a relatively normal life.

Thankfully, according to multiple doctors and medical professionals assisting Finley with his recovery, that will be possible as a full recovery is expected.

It’s also possible that he will eventually return to the NFL, despite former Green Bay Packers tight end Mark Chmura recently saying that he would ‘bet his bottom dollar‘ Finley would never play again. That didn’t sit well with Finley, who took a shot at ‘Doctor Chmura’ in a recent (though now deleted) tweet:

"For All Craziness That’s Going Around “I’m Not Done With The Game Of FootBall”.Thanks To “Dr. Mark Chumra” For False Story"

Finley’s annoyance was well warranted considering Chmura was simply shooting off his non-medical based opinion.

Hopefully we see Finley back on the field after his recovery.
