Redskins Jordan Reed ‘running out of time’ after missing Friday practice
By Bryan Rose
The Washington Redskins don’t have a very good receiving corps when fully healthy. But possibly missing their top two targets for their Monday night game against the talented San Francisco 49ers – it’s a scenario that couldn’t be much worse for quarterback Robert Griffin III.
That’s likely what he’ll be dealing with however as it’s looking very likely that tight end Jordan Reed will miss the game as he’s yet to be cleared for practice.
Washington does have an extra day for Reed to be cleared given the Monday game, but considering they only have one practice remaining on Saturday and he’s still yet to get any official clearance, beat writer Brian McNally says Reed is ‘running out of time’:
"No practice again for Jordan Reed, who has not yet passed his concussion tests. Tight end running out of time to play Monday vs 49ers"
In addition to possibly missing Reed, the Redskins will be without Leonard Hankerson who underwent surgery for a torn LCL and ACL earlier this week.
