The Oakland Raiders aren’t likely to bring back Darren McFadden, meaning they’re going to be in desperate need of a running back moving forward.

Enter impending free agent Rashad Jennings, who the Raiders are hoping to re-sign in the near future according to general manager Reggie McKenzie.

Jennings, who took over for the oft-injured McFadden was fantastic in limited action, racking up 733 yards on the ground on 4.5 yards per carry in addition to six touchdowns.

In addition to Jennings, the Raiders are also looking to re-sign a handful of their other free agents including safety Charles Woodson.

Woodson certainly had his struggles during the 2013 campaign and another year of aging isn’t going to do him any favors, though he would likely return at a very team friendly price.

The former Michigan product, despite his age, has been ultra reliable in recent memory as well, playing in at least 16 games for fix of the past six seasons.
