By now you’ve heard all about Richard Sherman and his post game interview with Fox Sports reporter, Erin Andrews.

But you probably haven’t heard from Andrews herself, who appeared on the Dan Patrick Show the morning after the ruckus.

Andrews, who chased Sherman down so nobody else could interview him was happy that Sherman acted the way he did, suggesting that the Seattle Seahawks defensive back ‘losing his mind’ was ‘awesome’:

"“Dan, how much have you and I wanted a moment like that where an athlete didn’t say, ‘We’re playing Seahawks ball – we’re taking it play-by-play, game-by-game’? This is what we wanted. He lost his mind and it was awesome for once, you know?”"

For all of the negative wrath thrown upon Sherman, Andrews does have a point. So many times we’re given the same boring speech over and over. Of course, Sherman likely took things too far and was completely over the top in his antics which sparked the negative feedback, but it made for great TV and that’s all Andrews was hoping for.

She was also probably hoping to avoid the scrum without injury, but unfortunately in her attempt to grab Sherman, she took a knock on the chin. She said she’s just fine however.
