Could Eric Decker‘s final game with the Denver Broncos be in Super Bowl XLVIII? That’s the fear of the front office, this according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport who says the Broncos fear Decker may leave in free agency.

"From my #NFLGameDay hit: #Broncos WR Eric Decker will hit the FA market. Team fears they may lose him. They view him as a No. 2"

Decker will be among the premier wide receivers available in free agency and is certain to get a big deal. How big will likely determine if he can remain with the Broncos.

Rapoport reported that the Broncos want Decker to get his ‘best offer’ in free agency and come back to them, seeing if they’ll be able to match it.

Earlier this week it was reported the New York Jets, who are in desperate need of an improved wide receiver core, could possibly look to sign the soon-to-be free agent.

They’re likely to be just one of many teams entertaining the thought of signing Decker.
