The Houston Rockets and Dwight Howard spent their Tuesday evening in California’s capital, taking on the Sacramento Kings.

Before the game, like Howard so often does, he decided to play one-on-one with a local kid – though this one took a bit of an odd turn for the Rockets big man.

You’ve likely seen video of Howard swatting the shot of three and four year old children circulating around the web in recent weeks. I’m not sure why Howard does this so often, but it’s pretty cute to see the children having fun with Howard.

Of course, the Rockets center isn’t used to the children having some skills, so he was likely taken back by this youngster who decided to bust a move on the All-Star.

Howard spent a few minutes of this clip playing around with the child, including blocking his shot. But that’s when the kid had enough and took it to Dwight’s weak spot – between his knees.

Yep – the kid decided to dribble between Howard’s legs and on top of it, drilled the pending layup, sending the early arriving crowd into a frenzy.

Yes, Dwight was nice and let the kid skate through  – but that was still a crafty move.
