The Jacksonville Jaguars have Chad Henne back, but they’re going to need somebody to throw to. That’s why they’re showing interested in former Pittsburgh Steelers wideout Emmanuel Sanders, who according to Ryan O’Halloran is in town visiting the Jags.
In addition, defensive lineman Ziggy Hood is also touring Jacksonville with Sanders.
"Steelers WR Emmanuel Sanders and DL Ziggy Hood in town visiting #Jaguars."
The wide reciever market has left a lot to be desired (some teams have enough thought of calling up Terrell Owens allegedly) but Sanders remains one of the better available talents.
It’s likely going to come down to price. Jacksonville can certainly use Sanders but he’s not really a guy you want to break the bank for. Of course, given the sub-par market and teams in need, Sanders will likely take his highest offer so the Jags may have to pony up the cash if they do want to bring him in.
The New York Jets are also said to have serious interest in Sanders.
