The Bay Area Rapid Transit system, better known to locals as BART is under fire today – for the most odd of things. The seat color on newly minted BART ‘train’ cars.

So what’s the issue? The colors are far too close to that of the Seattle Seahawks, chief rivals of the San Francisco 49ers.

Looking like the steel blue and electric green the Seahawks so famously wear, fans have issued a petition asking BART to change the seat colors.

"“The Seattle Seahawks are the chief rivals of the San Francisco 49ers,” the message begins. “To outfit BART car seats in the team colors of the Seattle Seahawks (i.e., neon green and blue) is an outrage and a slap in the face of every San Francisco 49ers fan who rides BART.“I call upon BART general manager Grace Crunican (who oddly enough worked as director of the Seattle Department of Transportation prior to joining BART) to scrap plans to adorn BART car seats in neon green and blue and instead choose other colors.”"

So how say you, FanSided? Too much time on one hands or a change that needs to be made?
