16. Sporting Kansas City

It was a sour week for Peter Vermes’s Sporting Kansas City. On Tuesday, they drew 1-1 with the New York Red Bulls at Sporting Park. Toni scored in the ninth minute of play for Sporting. Then, on Saturday, Sporting Kansas City were shut out, 1-0, by D.C. United at RFK Stadium. Sporting will need to get their act together when they travel to BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston, Tex. to take on the Houston Dynamo. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. CT/8:30 p.m. ET and will be televised by MLS LIVE.

17. FC Dallas

Blas Perez scored in the 16th minute but FC Dallas were unable to hold on late and fell, 2-1, to the San Jose Earthquakes at Toyota Stadium. It didn’t help matters that Adam Moffat was sent off in the 37th minute for two yellow cards. Dallas will be licking their wounds when they face the Colorado Rapids at home on June 7. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. CT/8:30 p.m. ET and will be televised by MLS LIVE.

After a 3-0 shutout defeat to the Colorado Rapids on the road, Dominic Kinnear’s Houston Dynamo will look to put the pieces together on June 6 against Sporting Kansas City at BBVA Compass Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. CT/8:30 p.m. ET and will be televised by MLS LIVE.

Wilmer Cabrera’s Chivas USA are back to familiar surroundings: the bottom of the MLS Power Rankings after falling 2-0 to the Portland Timbers on Wednesday and 3-0 to the Philadelphia Union on Saturday, both at StubHub Center. The Goats will look to get out the hole on June 8 against the Los Angeles Galaxy at the Hub. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET and will be televised by Univision Deportes.
