Chris Paul says best gift was signed Kelly Kapowski photo from ‘Saved by the Bell’

Maybe a new car? A fancy vacation? Something more close to the heart from a family member? Well, what about if you were a teenage boy who grew up watching NBC’s popular tweener series, ‘Saved by the Bell’ like Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul? Would a signed headshot of everybody’s favorite cheerleader Kelly Kapowski do the trick?
Pretty sure it would, which is why CP3 posted a picture of the signed photo on Instagram, suggesting it was one of the best birthday gifts he ever received.
Paul didn’t go on to suggest when he received the signed photograph, though given the actress who played the bubbly cheerleader, Tiffani Amber Thiessen signed the photo without her middle name suggests he may have picked it up after 2000 as Thiessen dropped her middle portion of her moniker at that time.
Of course, how he obtained the mid 90’s headshot remains a mystery. Maybe Thiessen, a Los Angeles resident, is a big fan of the All-Star point guard?
Either way, the feeling is mutual as Paul suggested on the Instagram caption that Kapwoski was his first love, even if she didn’t know it.

As for the photo? Yeah, I have to admit, I’m a little jealous. CP3 can have all the basketball related awards he wants, but a personalized Kapowski photo? Envy.
