MLB Rumors: Minnesota Twins sign Kendrys Morales
By Josh Hill
Since the offseason, there has been a lot made about where Kendrys Morales will call home and it appears that he has found out where that will be. Everyone from Seattle to Texans and even the Yankees seemed to be involved in some sort of discussion about Morales and just about everyone was either open to signing him or discussing him in a passive manner.

But despite all the teams we were hearing about where Morales would go, he ended up signing with a team that almost feels random in the process.
According to Jon Heyman from CBSSports.com, the Minnesota Twins have swooped in form seemingly nowhere to sign Morales for the rest of the season.
This my come as bit of a surprise to some that thought Morales might go to a team that could contend better than the Twins, but Minnesota is quietly putting together a receptacle season that could turn into something once we get into July and August.
Having Morales at their disposal not only gives them a decent option behind Joe Mauer at first base but gives the Twins some potential power hitting that they’ve always lacked. It’s a low risk, high reward situation for the Twins who have for once in a blue moon made a move on their roster that is a little bit splashy and may end up making them better in the long run.
