If you were worried about San Antonio Spurs guard Danny Green staying hydrated prior to tonight’s big Game 2 of the NBA Finals, fret no longer.

More from LeBron James

Green put all of your worries to rest in his latest post on his Instagram account, posing with a bottle of water on his chest with the caption: “Staying hydrated before game 2 lol @alkamewater.”

With all of the controversy emerging from Game 1 after the air conditioning at the AT&T Center malfunctioned and with LeBron James of the Miami Heat cramping up late in the fourth quarter, it’s only natural for someone with the sense of humor Green has to make fun of it all.

Green and James were teammates on the Cleveland Cavaliers during the 2009-10 season. They could still be very good friends for all we know, so I doubt there was any malicious intent or ill-will being directed with the aforementioned post.

Even so, the last thing Green should want to do is give James any extra motivation as the two sides prepare to square off once again later tonight in Game 2 of the series.

Green played 28 minutes in Game 1, scoring 13 points with three daggers from behind the arc. He also grabbed three rebounds and stole the ball twice. James led all players in scoring with 28 points on 9-of-17 shooting, including six rebounds, three assists and three steals.

The four-time NBA Most Valuable Player confirmed on Friday that his leg is fine and he should be healthy enough to continue playing at a high level for the remainder of the NBA Finals. The Spurs have a 1-0 lead after winning the opener on Thursday night, 110-95.
