As if Minnesota Timberwolves fans needed another reasons to dislike David Kahn, he’s apparently been out and about writing hot sports takes.

More from Minnesota Timberwolves

The Star Tribune reported Kahn has written about Steve Ballmer’s purchase of the Clippers complete with thoughts on the value of the Clippers and Donald Sterling. Where the hot takes come in is when he says MLB should consider a split season and have their playoffs during July.

For those unfamiliar with David Kahn, he was the Wolves president from 2009-2013 that infamously drafted three point guards in the same draft.

During his period as president, he managed to draft Jonny Flynn, hire Kurt Rambis, trade for Michael Beasley, sign Darko Milicic, completely under value Kevin Love and basically put the Wolves in a situation where they didn’t have a team with any chance at making the playoffs.

Many Wolves fans will tell you last year’s roster was the first time since the 2004-2005 season they had enough talent to have a chance at making the playoffs.

It wasn’t a coincidence that Kahn was no longer involved with the organization.

Kahn has the right to say whatever he wants about anything. If he wants to out and make comments about Donald Sterling or, hell, even baseball, that’s fine. But due to his track record as president and the major dislike of him among Wolves fans, he’s certainly going to have to prove that his opinions are worth listening to.
