The Los Angeles Clippers have finally moved as far away from the Donald Sterling mess as they possibly can, as while he’s still hanging around and burping up all over himself, the team has a new owner lined up and change is on the horizon.

More from LeBron James

How dramatic that change ends up being is a question many Clippers fans are wondering about, as there are some big names set to become available this summer and we may see Los Angeles take a run at one of them.

While we heard the rumors of a possible LeBron James for Blake Griffin sign-and-trade back in the winter, ESPN’s Bill Simmons is bringing up the LeBron to Los Angeles talk again but pointing out how easy it could be for them to make a hard run at him.

It may be a bit hasty to say that LeBron James will be on the Clippers radar, but if Steve Ballmer assumes control of the team, he may want to mark his arrival this summer with the splashiest of moves possible. That’s not to say this scenario will play out, as signing Paul Pierce may be the Clippers big offseason move, but we can’t count the Clippers out and LeBron may see the roster in Los Angeles as more attractive than what could be left in Miami when the summer is over.
