LeBron James has opted out of his contract with the Miami Heat and NBA fans are in a frenzy. For the next couple of weeks there will be rampant optimism amongst fan bases about their opportunity to land either James or Carmelo Anthony, potentially both.

Houston Rockets forward Chandler Parsons thinks that James could be headed to a new team.

“I think if they would have won the championship it would have been a different story and they would have come back to do it again but he’s got so much responsibility, he’s obviously one of the best players if not the best player, I think them losing will make him make a move and opt out and you’ll see him in a different jersey next year,” Parsons said.

Parsons added: “I just don’t think he’ll be back on the Heat, I think he has done all he can do there and it is time for him to move on.”
