With the NBA Draft behind us, all eyes in the NBA world will be focusing on free agency and where the big names hitting the open market will sign. Perhaps the biggest name outside of LeBron James is Carmelo Anthony, who is set to visit a handful of teams once free agency begins but will wait until the second week in July to sign anywhere.

More from Chicago Bulls

According to Marc J. Spears from Yahoo! Sports, the list of teams that Carmelo Anthony plans on meeting with isn’t long but it packs a lot of punch as the places he could go could end up being game changers for his career.

"Anthony opted out of his contract with the Knicks recently to become an unrestricted free agent and can begin talking to teams July 1. A source said there is currently no frontrunner for Anthony’s services, and he is expected to meet with the Knicks, Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets and Dallas Mavericks."

The most likely place for Carmelo Anthony to end up is with the Chicago Bulls but a return to the New York Knicks isn’t out of the question. The Dallas Mavericks also make a lot of sense for Melo with the Los Angeles Lakers bringing up the rear with little to no chance of signing the top free agent.

Either way, Melo has his list of potential homes moving forward and it will be up to the respective teams to sell themselves to him and convince the All-Star that he needs to sign with them.
