NBA Rumors: Orlando Magic more interested in 2015 free agents
By Bryan Rose
The Orlando Magic have plenty of cap space this offseason (among the most in the NBA, to be honest) and while they’re not exactly opposed to spending some of their available money, it’s not expected that they’ll make a big splash. However, come next Summer, that may change.

While there are a handful of talented, available free agents this offseason the Orlando Magic could show interest in it’s the belief of Orlando Sentential that the 2015 offseason will be far more intriguing for the Magic and their fans.
"The Magic, however, are more interested in the summer of 2015.Possible free agents include some heavyweights such as LaMarcus Aldridge, Kevin Love, Rajon Rondo, Al Jefferson, Kawhi Leonard and Goran Dragic. Klay Thompson and Kyrie Irving could reach restricted free-agent status."
While the current free agent crop is dusted with big names like LeBron James, Dwayne Wade and Carmelo Anthony, things begin to look awfully thin once you skim the surface. The additional year also gives the Orlando Magic a better idea of what to expect from their roster as they’ll be able to not only play together for an extended period but their young players like Aaron Gordon and Victor Oladipo will be able to progress as NBA players.
The Summer of 2015 also brings with it more obtainable franchise players as guys like Wade, James and Anthony aren’t realistic options for the Magic while players like Aldridge, Love or even Rodno don’t seem completely outlandish.
It’s likely to be another rough year in the Magic Kingdom but it might all be worth it in the end.
