Auburn fans roll Toomer’s Corner to honor Philip Lutzenkirchen

On Sunday, the sad death of former Auburn Tigers tight end Philip Lutzenkirchen was reported after the 23 year old was involved in a fatal car accident. It was a shocking moment in the college football world, and the Auburn community rallied to show their support.

Fans from all over the college football world and SEC Nation were sending their condolences to the Lutzenkirchen and Auburn family, but a group of fans went one step further.
In one of the most touching tributes, a group of Auburn fans came together to celebrate Lutzenkirchen’s life by rolling the iconic Toomer’s Corner in his honor.
It was a great moment that we all can catch a glimpse of thanks to the power of social media.

The paper was even personalized with Lutzenkirchen’s name and Auburn number.

Lutzenkirchen was one of the most beloved players in Auburn history and he will surely be missed.
