Browns third-string QB Johnny Manziel took a break from burning up Vegas to shoot an ad for a local Cleveland car dealer. The spot, filmed at a Cleveland-area high school, involves Johnny throwing a football through the open window of a Nissan Altima.

And because Johnny threw a football through the window of an Altima, you should now feel compelled to go to this local Cleveland dealer and purchase an Altima. Is that how advertising works?
As Cleveland.com reports, Johnny’s endorsement deal with the dealership came about through a connection to LeBron James and his friend Maverick Carter. The owner of the dealership gushed about his long-time relationship with James and Carter:
"They’ve been phenomenal clients of ours for the last nine years, even after he moved to Miami — not only LeBron but his friends and associates. He’s been a super-loyal client and it was a natural for when they got Johnny to really present it to us and give us that opportunity."
And that my friends is how you lick a boot. Well done, Cleveland business-owner.
As for Manziel…you can’t complain that he isn’t working hard enough. He is clearly taking his job as a product-endorser seriously.
It’s not all about spraying champagne, taking selfies with Drake and collecting exotic STDs for Manziel. He also cares about helping rich guys sell crappy cars. This guy GETS it.
