In today’s NBA, you can never have enough three-point shooters and New Orleans’ Pelicans’ free agent Anthony Morrow certainly qualifies as one.

More from Chicago Bulls

The Portland Trail Blazers could be interested in Morrow as a role player and the Oklahoma City Thunder are also expected to show interest in Morrow. The Detroit Pistons also reportedly scheduled a meeting with Morrow but they have since agreed to a three-year, $19.5 million deal with former Los Angeles Lakers’ guard Jodie Meeks and agreed to a one-year deal with former Atlanta Hawks’s swingman Cartier Martin.

Morrow is known for his three-point prowess, so several other teams could get into the mix to sign the sharpshooters. Any team could use a player like Morrow, but the Chicago Bulls, who often struggle to score, badly need help scoring and Morrow would make for an excellent fit in Chicago.

Alex Kennedy of Basketball Insiders believes the Bulls have contacted Morrow.

"Yes, I believe the Bulls have reached out to Anthony Morrow, as have a number of other playoff teams. He’s going to receive a lot of interest over the next few weeks because he’s a three-point specialist who is a great locker room guy. He’ll have to wait for some of the bigger dominoes to fall before he inks a deal, but there has already been significant interest in Morrow and I believe Chicago is one team that’s pursuing him (which makes sense since they need three-point shooting so badly)."

Morrow went for 8.4 points and 1.8 rebounds per game while shooting 45.8% from the field, 45.1% from three and 82.8% from the free throw line.
