It’s been quite an active afternoon for the Cleveland Cavaliers who have been rumored to have interest in Mike Miller, Ray Allen, Kevin Love and of course LeBron James. But those aren’t the only rumors of the day swirling around the Cavaliers organization as they’re apparently in the market for something else.

More from Cleveland Cavaliers

While the vast majority of the previously mentioned rumors are tied to LeBron James, Sam Amico of Fox Sports Ohio says the Cleveland Cavaliers are looking to acquire a big man. Amico doesn’t specify if such a move would come via free agency or trade but did suggest that Kevin Love could be among the names in the search.

Of course, the Cleveland Cavaliers have been rumored to be involved in the Kevin Love sweepstakes for quite some time though have seemingly become more interested in making a deal considering such a move would be extremely helpful in their pursuit to sign LeBron James.

Still, that’s a bit of a pipe dream and it’s completely possible that the Cavaliers are looking to acquire a much more affordable talent. Who exactly that might be is an unknown as there are a handful of ‘big men’ on the market. It’s possible the Cavaliers could attempt to sign one in free agency or they could look into the trade market and see if any outside Love are available.

Much will depend on what happens with their courting of LeBron James, obviously, but there’s no doubt the Cleveland Cavaliers could use a true center to place alongside Anthony Bennett and company in their front court.
