LeBron James rumors: Dwyane Wade trying to close?
Miami Heat forward LeBron James is set to fly to Brazil on Saturday to attend the World Cup Final between Germany and Argentina, but still hasn’t made (or at least announced) a decision about his future. He will either be re-signing with the Heat or leaving the Heat for the team he spurned in 2010, the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Last night a report surfaced that James and Heat guard Dwyane Wade were flying back to Miami together after working at James’ camp in Las Vegas. According to Adrain Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, the Heat could be using Wade as a closer to keep James in a Heat uniform.
"James played in games in his skills camp in Las Vegas and found himself photographed throughout the day with Wade. Twenty-four hours earlier on Wednesday, Heat president Pat Riley and assistant general manager Andy Elisburg met with Wade and Paul for an hour, discussing the possibilities of a Heat extension and roster overhaul. James left unconvinced, and Riley stayed with the franchise’s cool, nonplussed disposition over the James’ free agency. Riley hasn’t been bombarding James with text messages and calls, but ultimately left Wade as a most intriguing, last-gasp suitor in the desert. As much as anything, Wade’s bad knees could be chasing him out of Miami, and suddenly he had been cast back into the recruiter’s role."
James averaged 27.1 points, 6.9 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 1.6 steals per game while shooting 56.7% from the field, 37.9% from three and 75.0% from the charity stripe last season. Wade went for 19.0 points, 4.7 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game while shooting 54.5% from the field, 28.1% from three and 73.3% from the free throw line.
