Kendall Marshall thanks Los Angeles Lakers, Chipolte restaurant
By Bryan Rose
The Los Angeles Lakers apparently assumed that nobody would claim Kendall Marshall when they placed him on waivers late last week. They of course assumed wrong as the Milwaukee Bucks rushed to claim the pass-first point guard who put up impressive numbers in Hollywood last season.

Grateful that the Los Angeles Lakers decided to give the former first round pick another chance in the NBA, Kendall Marshall thanked his former team. But that wasn’t the only group Marshall wanted to give love to as just moments later, Kendall Marshall also randomly thanked Chipolte, a Mexican restaurant with franchises all over the country.
Why exactly Marshall decided to thank Chipolte is unknown, though clearly he was a big fan of the eatery during his time in Southern California.
Thankfully he won’t be without his favorite food as there are plenty of local Chipolte restaurants in the surrounding Milwaukee area, so he’ll at least have a full stomach as he joins the Bucks. I don’t think the hefty burritos will translate into wins, but hey, you never know.
Also, you have to think it’s just a matter of time until Chipolte gets word of Marshall’s affliction for their restaurant and is given a lifetime burrito card, much like musician John Legend (who may be better known as Mr. Chrissy Teigan).
I mean, I’d be happy with a once-per-week burrito card, just in case they’re listening. No? What about a twice-a-month card? Once every-six-month card? Come on, anything?!!?
