Hulk Hogan rips former Dallas Cowboys player Phil Costa

Although wrestling legend Hulk Hogan has spent the vast majority of his adult life in Florida, he’s always been a Dallas Cowboys fan. At least, that’s what the Hulkster says.

So Hulk Hogan had to be thrilled when his daughter Brooke Hogan became engaged to Phil Costa, who at the time was a Dallas Cowboys center. But all good things must come to an end and Costa’s time with the Cowboys ended earlier this year when he was a salary cap casualty after spending four seasons with the franchise.

Also ending was Costa’s engagement to Brooke Hogan, which didn’t sit well with her overly protective father who ripped the lineman during an interview with Dallas’ 105.3 The Fan (via TMZ).

Asked about his Cowboy’s fandom, Hogan spoke glowingly of the franchise though hinted that could have all stopped had the team retained Costa after he and his daughter ended their relationship. Thankfully, Jerry Jones doesn’t have to worry about one of his most ‘loyal’ (har, har) fans jumping ship now though as Costa was a member of the Indianapolis Colts after signing a two-year contract with the organization in March. But much like his relationship with Brooke Hogan, it unexpectedly came to an end just as quickly as Costa shockingly retired in April at just 26.

So what have we learned here? Well, Phil Costa has commitment issues, the Dallas Cowboys are still Hulk Hogan’s favorite team and if Costa and the Hulk ever meet up in a dark alley, things aren’t going to turn out very positive for the former NFL player.
