Laquon Treadwell makes ridiculous one-handed catch in Ole Miss practice (Video)
Laquon Treadwell is expected to be one of the breakout stars in the SEC and college football this season for the Ole Miss Rebels and the sophomore wide receiver made a play in practice to prove he’s well on his way to stardom.
Check out this one-handed beauty of a catch made by Treadwell at the Rebels indoor practice facility.
Treadwell was the No. 1 wide receiver and a part of the 2013 recruiting class for Hugh Freeze and Ole Miss that put the Rebels back on the map.
That class finished as a consensus top-10 class and a top-five class according to 247Sports, that also included No. 1 overall recruit Robert Nkemdiche, No. 1 offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil and No. 1 safety Tony Conner.

Ole Miss is coming off an 8-win season and could be a real sleeper in the SEC west this season if Treadwell and the aforementioned players can take a significant step in their development and complement the veterans on the Rebel roster, such as quarterback Bo Wallace and All-American safety Cody Prewitt.
Treadwell led Ole Miss with 72 receptions but only had 608 yards as he was used as a possession receiver and lined up predominantly in the slot and took a backseat to Donte Moncrief on the perimeter.
With Moncrief now with the Indianapolis Colts, Treadwell is lining up on the outside and at 6-3, 230-pounds has the size, speed and hands as we see in the video to be a potentially dominant receiver and All-SEC performer.
Treadwell was compared to Michael Irvin and Dez Bryant in his college debut against Vanderbilt by former NFL general manager Matt Millen and with at least two more years in college to develop as a player, he may prove those comparisons to be valid in the near future.
