Ray Rice is without a team and suspended indefinitely by the NFL after video surfaced on Monday showing him punching his then-fiance in the face.

But NFL commissioner Roger Goodell wouldn’t rule out reinstating Rice back into the league while speaking about the situation to CBS.
Goodell on Ray Rice ever playing again: "I don't rule that out, but we would have to be fully confident he is addressing this issue."

Still, getting reinstated isn’t the only hurdle Rice has to overcome if he wants to play in the NFL again. Would any team be willing to sign Rice at this point in his career?
There’s obvious character issues and signing him would be a massive public relations disaster. Also, Rice at 27 years old isn’t a great player anymore.
Rice rushed for just 660 yards on 214 carries last season. Teams aren’t exactly rushing out to sign a player with those numbers, especially one that has become perhaps the most hated man in sports right now.
New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, for one, said he wouldn’t pickup Rice and doesn’t expect others to do so either.

The Ravens selected Rice with the No. 55 pick of the 2008 NFL Draft. He has 6,180 rushing yards and 37 touchdowns for his career.
